Issue with my installation
If an issue arises with your water system your first point of contact will be the plumbing company responsible for completing your installation. Refer to your completion pack for your installer contact details. Unless this is an issue that is covered under your products warranty this call out will be at the expense of the home owner.

Warranty on materials
Your completion pack has all the warranty information for your water pump and filter.
The water tank needs to be registered through the Promax website. This requires the serial number included in your completion pack on page 3.
For all other workmanship warranties contact your installer.

Water pump

My pump is leaking
If your pump is leaking when it is first installed please contact the Puna Wai Ora team. If your pump begins leaking at a later stage please contact a plumbing company to help resolve the issue. Unless the issue is covered under the product warranty you will need to cover this cost. Puna Wai Ora Programme does not cover any maintainance on your products once the installation has been completed.

Water pressure is low
Check the lights on the pump and refer to the completion pack to establish the error. Check the screen for error codes on the filter. Check all connections for visible leaks. If the issue continues contact your installer.

My pump is not working
Check there is power to the pump, try resetting the pump using the button on the pump. Contact your installer who can either fix or refer it to the manufacturer.
Water filter

Timeframe for replacing UV bulbs and cartridges
Filter lamps and cartridges need to be replaced every 12-14months. Contact Kaitaia Plumbing or NPS Plumbing and Gas in Kaitaia to help with replacement parts.

Water tank

Will I get a water delivery?
A water delivery is only required when there is no other water source on the property to commission the installation. If this is a secondary tank no additional water will be provided from the Puna Wai Ora Programme.

What size will my new tank be?
Your new tank size is determined by your current water storage, and the number of people living in your whare permanently. Promax supplies the Puna Wai Ora Programme with tanks ranging from 25,000-30,000ltrs.

Cleaning my tank
It is recommended to clean your tank annually or as nessesary. This can be done by a tank cleaning company who can vacuum any sediment build up from the bottom of your tank.
